Wright gets Cross as Bacon steps down

Max Wright, former CEO, will now take on his new role as non-executive chairman, focused on providing strategic long-term growth and development.

Former chairman, Nick Bacon, who worked with the business as a non-executive director since 2011, now moves on having overseen a transformation of the business.

Wright said: “We would really like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Nick for all the hard work and support he has provided over the past few years, covering a period of great change not just for Personal Touch but also for the broader advice sector.

“His input has proved invaluable as we have made some major structural changes to our business resulting in a much more efficient and customer-focused company with quality at the forefront of our member offering.

“I am really excited to be taking on my new role as chairman, focusing on longer-term strategic planning alongside Jane and our other directors.

“Having pioneered the new network model which is proving so successful, we are now perfectly positioned to capitalise on all the new opportunities and challenges which the advice sector and particularly the mortgage and ‘at retirement’ markets present.”
