Trigold announces InterBay tie-up

The functionality enables mortgage brokers to quickly and easily submit a commercial referral directly from their sourcing system to InterBay.

Bill Safran, CEO of Trigold, said: “The commercial mortgage sector is witnessing unprecedented levels of interest and growth and InterBay has recognised this and we’re delighted to be working with them to take the initiative and both raise the profile and availability of these types of loans. Technology definitely has an important role to play in promoting these loans by creating a sales environment that facilitates a practical and professional sales process.

“Our goal is to place the tools on a broker’s desktop that ensures there is no situation where a potential client has to be turned away; such as with commercial loans.”

Colin Bell, operations director at InterBay, said: “We are delighted to be joining forces with a company that shares our entrepreneurial approach and resolute commitment in providing services that best meet the needs of intermediaries. With its highly successful residential mortgages service, we quickly recognised Trigold to be the ideal platform to accommodate the launch of a new commercial application facility and were the first commercial lender to make an approach to see how we could work together. The result of this collaboration is a speedy, user-friendly system providing intermediaries with direct access to InterBay’s range of self-certified commercial mortgages through Trigold’s Prospector AAA.

“In our endeavour to reduce the length of time and the amount of effort spent on the application process, users can pre-populate the conditional offer request and application forms with existing client information, and, once the initial request is submitted, can expect a fully credit checked and underwritten offer within 48 hours. The service is an ideal opportunity for intermediaries, with little or no experience in terms of self-certified mortgages, to branch out and earn themselves 2 per cent proc fees on every completion in the process.”
