Torbay receives first 'live' HIP

Monday 24 April 2006 may be regarded as a landmark date for the Torbay property market – with the arrival of the first ‘live’ Home Information Pack, to support the sale of a property being sold by local estate agents, Mashford Estates’, Paignton office.

Home Information Packs (HIPs) will become a legal requirement for every property offered for sale in England and Wales from 1st June 2007 under new Government legislation introduced in the Housing Act 2004. HIPs signal one of the most radical changes ever seen in the way homes are bought and sold in England and Wales – changes that many feel are long overdue.

The Home Information Pack provider to Mashford Estates is Localhip .
