Together's intermediary sales team achieves £1.4 billion annual lending

For the second time in as many years, specialist lender Together has surpassed the £1 billion mark for annual lending through its intermediary sales team channel.

The financial services group, which provides bridging loans and mortgages to individuals and businesses, has announced annual lending of more than £1.4 billion across the 12-month period ending June 30.

The group, with a loan book of £6.2 billion, also completed 7,857 transactions over the said period.

“This is an incredible achievement and highlights how high performing our sales team has been through what has been a tough cycle for the UK economy over the past couple of years,” remarked Tanya Elmaz (pictured), director of intermediary sales at Together.

“Breaking the £1 billion barrier again for the second year running shows the huge demand which exists from broker’s clients for specialist lending, in terms of both commercial and personal finance.”

Elmaz, who was named one of Mortgage Introducer’s Elite Women this year, credited the sales team’s keen focus on working closely with brokers, as well as partners such as solicitors and valuers, to “provide the best service possible and the best outcomes for clients.”

“Over the coming months, we will be targeting even more opportunities to grow our business under the new team structure,” she announced. “This will include expanding our broker panel and focusing on new products, such as our regulated second charge bridge product, which offers more options for brokers to support customers looking for short-term finance.”

Last month, Together reported monthly lending of more than £106 million in short-term lending alone in June – the second time this year that the specialist lender had surpassed the £100 million mark -  highlighting its strong support of the UK property market.
