TBMC unveils new website and branding

The company has re-evaluated its business offering and tailored its proposition specifically to cater for the needs of intermediaries in the current financial climate.

The new website features a dedicated buy-to-let sourcing and quotation system which is free to use and covers the whole of the market, including products that are not available in the general marketplace. It offers an enhanced rental calculator and flexible criteria filters to ensure that it finds the products that are most suitable for clients' needs, such as for limited companies, ex-council properties or student tenants.

The buy-to-let section of the site offers information about lender rate withdrawals, procuration fees and access to the lender documentation required to submit applications. The site includes an online case tracking facility which enables intermediaries to get instant access to information about their buy-to-let cases submitted through TBMC.

The commercial section features a simple enquiry form which is submitted to a team of specialist commercial finance brokers who evaluate the case and provide recommendations and solutions.

The site also includes relevant news items, industry articles and reports.

Andy Young, chief executive at TBMC said: “The buy-to-let and commercial mortgage markets have changed dramatically over the last few years and intermediaries now need more support than ever from experts to help them place cases with lenders.

“The effects of the financial crisis have culminated in a marketplace that is fast-paced and subject to change at very short notice, which makes operating as an adviser in the buy-to-let and commercial mortgage markets more demanding than it has ever been.

“TBMC’s role has developed from being a traditional buy-to-let mortgage packager and commercial mortgage broker to a dedicated specialist, offering an excellent information and support service to intermediaries and providing added value through our strong lender relationships. Because of this we feel that TBMC’s identity in the marketplace is now somewhat different and our new website and branding reflects this evolution.

“We have a well-established reputation in the broker community and are widely referred to as just TBMC, not The Business Mortgage Company. Therefore we have modernised and simplified our company logo to reflect this, no longer incorporating the full business name and instead displaying only the initials, TBMC.”
