Tandem Bank partners with Knowledge Bank

Tandem Bank has partnered with Knowledge Bank to become the latest lender to go live on the criteria sourcing platform.

As a result of the partnership, users of the search engine will now be able to access all of Tandem Bank’s mortgage criteria when trying to place cases.

Tandem, which aims to build a greener, digital bank and provide sustainable ways to save, borrow and spend to people across the UK, said the tie-up with Knowledge Bank forms a complimentary collaboration as “both companies have a passion to innovate the mortgage market through education and advocate greener methods.”

“Knowledge Bank is at the forefront of broker education and Tandem Bank is delighted to partner a company with which we share the same aspirations and goals focussing on educating and increasing knowledge in the broker market,” Roger Morris (pictured left), director of sales and distribution at Tandem’s mortgage division, said.

“Being part of Knowledge Bank gives us the opportunity to reach so many more brokers and allows them the opportunity to find and thoroughly research our criteria. Personally, I was fortunate to be with Nicola Firth (pictured centre) when she created the concept and launched Knowledge Bank in her kitchen so many years ago and have subsequently watched the growth of a phenomenal business.”

Shane Chawatama (pictured right), sales director for Knowledge Bank, added that the addition of Tandem Bank would “bring a real breath of fresh air to the market” as its “unique proposition will enhance the offering brokers can give borrowers.”

“Tandem Bank provides tangible benefits with greener solutions for the challenges brokers and their customers face,” Chawatama remarked. “This aligns closely with Knowledge bank’s own core principles and it’s a pleasure to work with Tandem Bank and we are excited to watch their impact on the market.”
