Roma Finance recruits head of field sales

Bridging and development lender Roma Finance has appointed Sonia Mann (pictured) as head of field sales.

Mann, who joins the business from property project lender CrowdProperty, has been in the financial services market for 26 years. Her focus is on building relationships and understanding the needs of partners and customers.

In her new role at Roma Finance, Mann will be responsible for the overall implementation of key sales strategies and relationships. She has also become a member of the lender’s senior leadership team.

Roma, which refreshed its branding last month, has announced plans to become a £350 million business, and believes that Mann’s appointment will play a key part in its growth plans.

“I am simply delighted to have Sonia on board,” remarked Michael Allison, commercial director at Roma Finance. “Her experience, dynamics, and values make her the ideal choice to lead our external sales team.

“We haven’t been shy with our plans, and our growth trajectory continues to surpass expectations.  On a personal note, I am thrilled Sonia will be joining the Roma family.”

Commenting on her appointment, Mann said she was excited to join Roma’s “energised environment.”

“I have watched Roma advance over the last couple of years,” she continued. “The reputation and ethics of the business are first class, and I am looking forward to working with the team and putting my specialist lending and business development skills into play.”
