Quantum Mortgages adds L&C Mortgages to panel

Specialist buy-to-let lender Quantum Mortgages has expanded its market presence by adding L&C Mortgages to its panel.

The partnership allows the mortgage and protection broker access to the lender’s full range of products, which includes financing options for single-unit properties, multi-unit buildings, and specialist property types.

The product offerings from Quantum Mortgages include single unit properties at up to 80% loan-to-value (LTV), with options for refinancing and day-one remortgages.

The multi-unit range supports properties such as multi-unit freehold blocks (MUFBs) and houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) with up to six units or rooms, as well as holiday lets, lending up to 75% LTV.

The specialist range caters to more niche market segments, offering loans for properties not typically available to landlords, including semi-commercial buildings and ex-local authority flats up to 12 storeys.

The lender also caters to expats and foreign nationals by lending up to 75% LTV to investors without UK residency, provided they own at least one other investment property.

The QML Pro range targets properties and circumstances that fall outside Quantum Mortgages’ standard criteria.

“We are delighted to be working with L&C Mortgages - having launched back in 2000, they have helped over 2 million people find the right solution for their clients,” said Spencer Gale (pictured), head of networks and clubs at Quantum Mortgages.

“Our proposition for the experienced and professional landlord will enhance the lenders they currently have on their panel, and I am confident we will add value to L&C Mortgages landlord customers.”

Simon Hendy, chief relationship officer at L&C Mortgages, also welcomed the addition of Quantum Mortgages to its panel, noting the broad and specialist nature of the lender’s products.

“This partnership provides our advisers with access to another great specialist lender whose product offering is extremely broad and will undoubtedly help them to find the right solutions for their clients,” he said.

“Quantum offers a personal and common-sense underwriting approach that fits in well with our own commitment to meeting customer needs and offering an enhanced customer experience.”
