Nationwide enhances its MTE capabilities

Brokers using Nationwide’s new application forms via the MTE can reserve a mortgage for their clients via its standalone product reservation feature and help clients select a solicitor from a simplified drop down process.

Ian Andrew, managing director of group intermediary sales at Nationwide, said the development of the mortgage platform had been a key factor in Nationwide’s business transformation.

He said: “I’m pleased to say our mortgage system is even easier to use, speeds up processing times, and demonstrates our commitment to the intermediary market. The mte application process has played a big part of this process and will no doubt help us to continue to deliver excellent customer experience.”

Available now to all users of the MTE the new application form enhancements have been designed to streamline the mortgage application process by offering greater functionality, increased efficiency and reduced paperwork.

The new document scan and attach feature speeds up the application process and cuts down on paperwork and postal delays by attaching a client’s supporting documentation during the application stage.

The platform integrates with the leading point-of-sale systems to improve efficiency and ensure compliance and is also available as a standalone product.
