Mortgage Brain app breaks 20,000 download mark

According to figures released by Mortgage Brain, the app, UKmortgages, has been downloaded by 21,570 consumers and used 97,067 times since its launch in mid-April.

Additionally, over 1,000 ‘real leads’ have been delivered to brokers with broker contact details being viewed over 11,500 times through the app’s unique ‘Find A Broker’ capability.

A first of its kind in the mortgage industry, UKmortgages has been designed to support brokers by promoting them to consumers via next generation mobile devices and delivering free leads.

Mark Lofthouse, CEO of Mortgage Brain, said: “We’re absolutely delighted with the continued success of our innovative mobile app.

"The rapid growth in consumer downloads along with the widespread broker participation clearly illustrates its value and the key role its playing in promoting brokers to consumers and generating new and on-going sales opportunities at no cost.

“UKmortgages is probably the most widely used consumer mortgage search applications for mobile devices in the UK. To achieve this status in such a short space of time is a fantastic achievement and reinforces the time and investment spent in developing the app for the benefit of all mortgage brokers.”

Available, free-of-charge, on the iPhone and iPad at the Apple Store, and free-of-charge on Android devices via the Play Store, UKmortgages allows homebuyers to conduct high level mortgage searches (broker products only), use a range of mortgage calculators, and then, through its ‘Find a Broker’ facility, use GPS navigation to show and provide contact details for the nearest broker.

All mortgage brokers who use Mortgage Brain’s mortgage sourcing systems are entitled to be promoted within the Find a Broker section, together with contact details, at no charge and all leads and enquiries are passed on, again at no charge.

Powered by the same technology as Mortgage Brain’s innovative sourcing system - ALL NEW MortgageBrain - the app offers intermediaries the opportunity, at no extra cost, to generate increased business levels by marketing themselves directly with financially informed, potential homebuyers, throughout the UK.
