Gatehouse Bank makes BDM team promotions

Gatehouse Bank has promoted Thomas Humphreys (pictured left) to the position of lead telephony business development manager and Tyler Sullivan (pictured right) to the role of business development manager (BDM).

Humphreys has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, joining Gatehouse in 2019 as a case manager.

In his new role, he will build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers and introducers by providing a high quality telephony service. He will also support the day-to-day management of the bank’s telephony business development team by assisting with workload distribution and conducting call listening quality control.

“I’m very pleased to have been promoted to the role of lead telephony business development manager and am looking forward to taking on more responsibility within the team,” Humphreys said.

“With its unique product offering and growing customer base, Gatehouse Bank continues to make strong progress. I look forward to continuing to help grow the business and help brokers with complex home finance enquiries while raising awareness of the bank’s criteria, products, and unique selling points.”

Sullivan also joined the bank as a case manager in 2018, moving over to the sales team as a telephony BDM in 2020.

His new role will cover areas across the Midlands, East Anglia, the South West and the South East, including Watford and Enfield. He will also support business growth by building and maintaining working relationships with brokers, and this will entail helping with new enquiries, contacting potential leads, and hosting meetings to raise awareness of the bank’s proposition.

“I am very much looking forward to taking on a new role at Gatehouse Bank as business development manager,” Sullivan said. “I really enjoy making new connections with brokers and raising awareness of our Shariah-compliant residential property finance products.

“Explaining our finance structure in comparison to a conventional mortgage provides an insight to brokers and helps them view Gatehouse Bank as an excellent alternative option for many of their clients.”

In an article announcing the promotions, Lottie Clayton, head of intermediary sales at Gatehouse Bank, stated that Humphreys and Sullivan were both an instrumental part of the bank’s business development team.

“I am delighted that they have stepped up to take on these important roles,” she remarked. “Their knowledge of Gatehouse Bank’s unique product proposition and strong existing intermediary relationships will be pivotal in continuing to enhance the bank’s relationship with brokers and ultimately boost business growth.”
