ERC adds to provider panel

These additions have swelled ERC’s provider panel to seven who can offer reversion schemes and nine lifetime providers.

Home & Capital will offer club members a procuration fee of 3.5%, £250 towards client’s legal costs with valuations refunded and no arrangement fees.

Dunfermline Building Society recently rolled out its new equity release product to the retail market following a successful launch to the introducer market earlier in the year. The lender is hoping the introduction of the lifetime mortgage will provide homeowners with a cushioning against the rising costs of the current financial climate.

Stuart Wilson, Managing Partner of Equity Release Club, said: “ERC is delighted by the addition of Home & Capital and Dunfermline Building Society to our provider panel as this ensures our members have access to an even greater variety of products backed up by great service standards. The equity release sector continues to grow with business levels rising - possibly fuelled by political intervention in the coming months - and it is important that advisers have the full range of tools and products available to embrace different client needs and circumstances.”
