Connect makes trio of senior appointments

Specialist mortgage network Connect for Intermediaries has made three new senior appointments to support its plans to drive its business forward this year.

Alan Baldwin joins from Masthaven as director of compliance, responsible for the oversight of the compliance teams and delivering of the implementation of the AR supervision and Consumer Duty papers across the network.

Adrian Boxhall, previously with Shawbrook, is joining in mid-January as director of operations to help drive more efficiencies across the mortgage application process, particularly for the specialist lending and commercial markets.

Jim Selley, who joined the company just a year ago, has also been promoted to director of training to support advisers in growing their knowledge and professionalism.

“These great new appointments complete our plan for a really strong leadership team to kick off 2023,” Liz Syms (pictured), chief executive at Connect for Intermediaries, remarked. “Despite the question about market conditions, we felt it was very important to provide greater strength to these areas of the business so we can deliver on our ambitious growth plans.”
