LiveMore recruits new director of intermediary sales

Later life lender LiveMore has announced the appointment of Les Pick (pictured) as its new director of intermediary sales.

With over 25 years of experience in the later life lending sector, Pick brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. His journey in the industry began in 1998 as a financial adviser at Aviva. Over the years, he has made significant contributions, including establishing and managing an IFA practice in Dorset. Transitioning exclusively to later life lending, he has served as the national sales manager for an equity release advice firm and led award-winning sales teams in the same marketplace.

At LiveMore, Pick will play a pivotal role in supporting mortgage brokers and financial advisers. His focus is on enhancing their capabilities to achieve favourable consumer outcomes in an increasingly intricate market landscape. Working closely with LiveMore’s strategic partners, Pick aims to boost distribution volumes through education, fostering robust relationships, and providing hands-on support.

“People who know me know that my passion lies in delivering fantastic consumer outcomes, innovating, and disrupting the industry,” Pick stated. “This is exactly what LiveMore does. I will make sure that the status quo is challenged. I will lead the drive to ensuring that customers get the right products at the right time of their lives – whether they are 53 or 103.

“I know I have my work cut out. The hard-hitting 2023 FCA report on later life lending demonstrated a gap that needs filling with education and better support for financial advisers and mortgage brokers. I will be working hard to help fill that gap.”
