The Mortgage Works cuts switcher rates

The Mortgage Works (TMW), the buy-to-let lender of Nationwide Building Society, has announced rate reductions on selected switcher mortgage products.

As a result of the reprice effective today, January 30, rates now start at 3.84% after cuts of up to 20 basis points.

The new buy-to-let switcher rates include a 3.99% two-year fix with a £3,995 fee, a 4.39% three-year fix with a £1,495 fee, and a 4.49% five-year fix – all at up to 65% loan-to-value (LTV). Other rate and fee combinations are also available on the lender’s switcher product range.

Complete details of all rate adjustments can be found on TMW’s website.

“We are continually looking to support our existing landlords, and these latest reductions will be some of the most competitive and cost-effective options in the market,” Joe Avarne (pictured), senior manager for buy-to-let mortgages at The Mortgage Works, said.
