Clucas tasked with amplifying broker voice at mortgage aggregator

Mortgage aggregator Connective has announced the appointment of Brad Clucas (pictured) to the newly created role of head of strategic member engagement, effective from 1 July.
Clucas will focus on building strategic relationships with brokers, particularly those operating in high-growth, high-volume, or complex environments.
As part of his role, Clucas is tasked with amplifying the broker voice in Connective’s business-making decisions.
Discussing his appointment, Clucas said: “The broker-client relationship is evolving and so is the aggregator’s role. I’m looking forward to spending more time listening to our brokers, learning what truly matters to them, and translating that into real, tangible improvements in their experience and future with us.”
Clucas has spent over 20 years in the mortgage and finance sector, including the past four years as Connective’s head of broker channel.
Connective’s chief operating officer Gingkai Tan said the appointment reflects the aggregator’s ongoing investment in its broker network.
“Brad is an incredibly experienced executive and has long championed the broker perspective within Connective,” Tan said. “This new role gives him the mandate to work even more closely with our members to shape the future of their experience.
“It’s an important step in our strategy that goes beyond the established and well-resourced support structure we already have in place, towards a more strategic and bespoke partnership prioritising our brokers’ success.”
Connective is not announcing a replacement head of broker channel at this point in time.
