Zoopla and FocalAgent partnership gains momentum

Zoopla has revealed that over 250 agents have now signed up to benefit from its partnership with FocalAgent, a marketplace connecting estate agents with property marketing solutions.

Zoopla outlined that participating agents receive free virtual viewings, improved marketing capabilities, more leads, increased instructions and a reduced time to market.

The partnership provides Zoopla with free access to FocalAgent’s Smart Viewing platform.

Agents can also take advantage of improved marketing capabilities including tailored professional photography.

Data from Zoopla shows that virtual viewings mean time to market is reduced by 12% and leads per listing is up 6%.

The partnership is driving increased instructions with agents typically seeing a 25% increase on MA to instructions with the use of packs.

Virtual tours mean agents can conduct eight viewings per hour, saving around 30 minutes per viewing meaning agents can focus on driving new business.

Agents leveraging 360° virtual tours alongside the Smart Viewing platform report a 35% decrease in viewing to offer ratios.

In addition, participating agents are reporting a reduction in admin and improved relationships with vendors due to the participation of serious, pre-qualified buyers, outlined Zoopla.

Andy Marshall, chief commercial officer at Zoopla, said: “At Zoopla we are laser focused on driving value and tangible results for our agent partners and this partnership with FocalAgent is delivering just that.

“More leads, reduced time to market and more efficient use of time is the holy trinity for busy agents and the feedback we’ve had so far has been overwhelmingly positive.

“We look forward to growing the partnership with FocalAgent and bringing its benefits to even more agents over the coming months.”

Lee Wainwright, chief executive at FocalAgent, added: “With people still cautious about transmission, contact and travelling, the viewing stage will remain a remote, digital experience for many.

“Our virtual viewings are a powerful tool and agents are waking up to their long-term potential, in terms of improved online engagement, lead generation and the pre-qualification of genuine clients. In addition, home movers now expect a virtual viewing and FocalAgent doesn’t see this as an option that can be quietly dropped by agents.”
