YouConvey and Kuflink beef up broker-facing teams with key hires

Conveyancing platform YouConvey and bridging lender Kuflink have each announced key appointments aimed at expanding their engagement with mortgage brokers.

YouConvey has named Teresa Abols as senior business development manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in the mortgage and property sector, Abols previously held senior roles at GW Legal, including Head of Account Management.

Her role at YouConvey will focus on building closer ties between brokers and the conveyancing process. Founder Eddie Goldsmith described her return as a “reunion with one of the most dynamic forces in the industry,” adding that she would be instrumental in scaling YouConvey’s broker engagement.

“I wouldn’t be back in the industry if it wasn’t for Eddie,” Abols (pictured right) said. “But I feel like I’m back with the best, and I’m excited to be part of such an innovative company that really cares about its customers and brokers.”

Meanwhile, Kuflink has bolstered its sales team with the addition of Joshua Spratt and Maisie Kemp.

Spratt joins from second charge lender Lendable, while Kemp arrives from buy-to-let specialist Keystone Property Finance. Both will report to Kuflink’s recently reappointed head of origination, Ranjit Narwal.

“Kuflink is setting out its stall as an intermediary focussed lender,” Narwal said. “I am delighted to welcome Josh and Maisie, who are already making a significant impact on the levels of service we now offer.”

Kuflink has made several senior-level changes this year as part of a wider strategy to increase broker-originated business. Narwal added that the lender is preparing to announce upgrades to its IT systems and underwriting to further support the broker community.
