Yorkshire conveyancer expands

The premises will enable the residential conveyancer to house over 200 employees, with the firm appointing more than 100 staff over the past 18 months.

The office at Wakefield 41 Business Park adds to the firm’s existing building at Paragon Business Village.

Beaumont Legal handled £1.7bn in property deals over the past 12 months, helping with the sale, purchase and remortgage of more than 8,000 UK properties.

Nick Masheder, partner and head of conveyancing for Beaumont Legal, said: “The new office is crucial to the continued development of our conveyancing department.

“When we moved from the centre of Wakefield to Paragon Business Village in 2005, our aim was to offer modern home movers across the country an online service combined with a personal touch.

“This has proved to be incredibly successful and resulted in our position as the largest conveyancer in Yorkshire.

“The new office is an integral part of our ambitious growth plans and our next step in continued expansion of our growing teams across all areas of the firm.”

The office will home Beaumont Legal’s £150,000 Training Academy, which was created to help the its staff improve their skills.
