Winterthur unveils IHT workshops

The series will be aimed at helping advisers understand and make the most of changes within the industry, with each workshop counting for two hours towards CPD accreditation

Hosted by Winterthur’s tax and trust specialists John Hancock and Sean Burrows, key topics within the trust-planning market will be discussed, using case studies to give practical solutions.

Topics covered will include the following:

  • Pre-March2006 trusts -A recap of the transitional arrangements in place prior to 6 April 2006
  • Ordering of trusts –Ensuring complementary trust arrangements are set up so as to minimise potential periodic and exit charges
