Winner of TrigoldCrystal prize draw announced

Earlier in the year TrigoldCrystal announced a new program of investment focussed on the needs of its clients. With some major enhancements already on the way, it initiated a broader survey of clients to help prioritise further developments.

Among the highlights of the survey, now being managed into the product development plans of TrigoldCrystal, was particular praise for Prospector’s ease-of-use of Prospector.

David Thompson, sales and marketing director at TrigoldCrystal, commented: “Prospector has the support of over 70% of mortgage professionals and our survey helps us understand why. Feedback for the system was dominated with praise for its ease-of-use and sourcing capabilities.

“Early feedback from the survey and work with some of our larger network partners has already initiated projects to improve usability further; work which we will be revealing to the market very soon.”

On other feedback, Thompson added: “We found it particularly interesting to see what products, in addition to mortgages and insurance, many advisers are offering as part of their service.

“Advisers are clearly focussing on helping the clients raise finance and manage retirement with a good proportion reporting their interest in equity release and arranging loans other than mortgages.”

New technologies have also been reported as being of growing importance to brokers with over half of respondents confirming they would consider using technology such as tablet computers in the advice process. TrigoldCrystal’s Mobile Development team will undoubtedly be glad to hear that brokers are adopting these technologies.

David Thompson said: “Like many other professionals, brokers often need to be mobile when dealing with clients. My view is that technology needs to keep pace with the way people want to use it. With many brokers adopting mobile technologies and wanting to use it to help facilitate their business, we are taking the feedback on board and look forward to delivering more tools in this area soon.”
