Vitality campaign supports member and adviser wellbeing

A wellbeing campaign, launched by insurance provider Vitality, aims to support members’ and advisers’ health and wellbeing while operating safely within social distancing restrictions.

The campaign includes ‘Vitality Ambassadors’, including sporting figures such as Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Johnny Wilkinson and Tracey Neville, sharing their lives in lockdown.

The ambassadors will share favourite recipes, workouts and personal insights into how they are coping, mentally and physically, with life at home.

New content will be published on Vitality’s Instagram account at 4pm every day, in addition to a TV advert inspiring people to stay healthy and active, broadcast across national TV stations.

In addition, Vitality has launched a webinar series featuring industry experts, aimed at supporting the adviser community to navigate the challenges of the industry as a whole and help clients with issues.

Neville Koopowitz, CEO of Vitality, said: “At the moment, we are all experiencing challenges and restrictions that are affecting our lives in multiple ways.

“With the majority of people in financial services now working from home, and interacting with clients in ways that would barely have been imagined a few months ago, we wanted to make sure we could offer support to advisers that goes beyond that traditionally available by offering inspiring speakers, who provide unparalleled insight and insightful information.

“Alongside this we have recognised that our life at home is significantly different and some people, including advisers, may be finding it hard to prioritise physically activity or time to look after their mental health.

“What’s more, some people may find that being at home for such a long time exacerbates both of these things.

“By bringing together our ambassadors, we hope to inspire people to prioritise looking after themselves in this way, whether they be members, our advisers or the wider general public.”
