Valentine’s Day competition from Select & Protect

Select & Protect are holding an exclusive ‘V-Day’ competition where registered brokers are being asked which of their products they love most. The four brokers who post the best answers on the provider’s Facebook wall will each win a £25 cinema voucher.

Select & Protect, who currently have 215 ‘friends’ on Facebook, hold competitions each month on the social networking site. The page is also used to post latest news, updates, videos and sneak previews of upcoming product and system launches. The GI provider encourages brokers to comment on posts with their views and to use the ‘wall’ to make suggestions, voice concerns and start discussions on topical news.

Scott Fynn, head of marketing, said: “We launched our presence in the world of social media last year and it’s proved really successful so far. Having pages on Facebook and Twitter gives us an easy additional route to communicate latest news with our brokers and talk to them on a more personal level.

“In addition, we find that LinkedIn is a great way for us to connect with brokers and see what people are talking about. Several of our staff are getting involved in a number of discussions and it offers a great new way for us to interact and really listen and respond to brokers industry needs and concerns.”

The Facebook competition, which closes on 28th February 2011, is open to all registered Select & Protect brokers who ‘Like’ the provider’s Facebook page.
