Trustguard unveils competition winner

Under the terms of the competition, brokers received one entry for every commercial or secured loan application they submitted through the firm.

Now Stojkovic, a broker at Mortgageforce in Peterborough who had 12 applications, will get eight laps in a Formula One car after Trustguard chief executive David Cole pulled out the winning entry.

The prize comprises a two-day package for him and his partner that will begin with an overnight stay in the Bosworth Hall Country Hotel. There they will be guests at a familiarisation event and dinner staged by the F1 team.

After breakfast the following day, Alex will head out onto the nearby race track for demo laps in a 'hot hatch', followed by 5 laps in a high-performance sports car such as a Porsche or Ferrari. Alex will next transfer to a Formula Ford 1600 single-seater and then a Vauxhall Lotus single-seater for 7 and 10 laps respectively. At that stage it will be time for Alex to drive 8 laps in the F1 car.

The experience concludes with a de-brief and driving assessment from an instructor, followed by the presentation of a photograph and certificate plus a Formula One gift pack.

Alex has participated in amateur car rallies in the past and is looking forward to the experience: “I was really over the moon to win this prize. I’ll now be able to see how my lap times compare with Jenson Button’s.”
