TMA survey for DAs

In response to difficult market conditions, the impending April deadline for DA firms to extend permissions and concerns over procuration fee payment, TMA is undertaking extensive research to determine what DA brokers need to prosper in the difficult market conditions of 2009.

The results will be used to highlight any potential fears, opening or developments in the market which TMA will look to address in the future. Members will receive direct correspondence from TMA regarding the survey and non-members can log onto the website at www.themortgagealliance.com and follow the links to complete the survey.

Upon completion of the survey all participants will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win two grandstand tickets for the British Grand Prix held at Silverstone on Sunday 21 June 2009. The deadline for entries is midnight on Saturday 28 February and the prize draw will be conducted the week commencing Monday 2 March.

Phil Whitehouse, head of TMA, commented: “It is vital to understand exactly what is required, in terms of support and services, to help DA brokers boost income streams and make their lives easier in these turbulent times. The basic concept of the survey is to build a better picture of what brokers actually need to survive and prosper.”
