The seminars will be co-hosted by Abbey for Intermediaries and take place throughout the month in various locations around the UK.
The sessions will include a brief overview of the mortgage market, followed by discussions on self certification, fast track, non-conforming, offset and flexible mortgages as well as buy-to-let and Home Information Packs. Case studies will be used to illustrate the different types of mortgage available in the market place.
There will also be a presentation by Partnership Assurance (formerly PAFS) on the opportunities presented by equity release.
The seminars will be open to all IFAs free of charge and take place from 9.30am to 1.00pm, with a maximum of 15 delegates per session. The dates and locations are as follows:
