The Mortgage Lender revamps sales team

The Mortgage Lender (TML) has undergone a restructuring of its sales and distribution team, aiming to bolster support for its distribution and intermediary partners while strengthening strategic relationships with target markets.

Under the new structure, the field business development management team is divided into two verticals. David Eaves assumes the role of head of sales for the North and South West regions, while Chris Kirby takes charge as head of sales for the Midlands, South, and specialist distribution. Eaves will also maintain oversight of TML’s telephone sales hub at its Glasgow headquarters.

The restructuring also includes the introduction of two new positions focusing on distribution partners. Anum Mahmood has been appointed as key account manager for specialist distribution, while Charlie Stack takes on the role of key account manager for corporate accounts, handling networks and clubs.

Another notable addition is the creation of a role dedicated to developing TML’s portfolio proposition and relationships with brokers supporting portfolio landlords. Sarah McCawley assumes the position of key account manager, tasked with providing more focused and specialist support to TML’s partners and their clients.

Keith Campsie has also been appointed as BDM for Central London, transitioning from his previous role in the Home Counties South. Campsie’s responsibilities include strengthening TML’s existing relationships with brokers in Greater London and forging new connections.

“We’ve recognised the changing needs of customers for the more complex, real-life scenarios within the property lending market,” Steve Griffiths (pictured), chief commercial officer at The Mortgage Lender, said. “Whether they are looking to purchase or refinance a residential mortgage or expand their BTL portfolio, it’s important to us at TML that we’re giving our brokers and their clients the best possible support.

“We have created a newly structured sales and distribution team to help navigate these changing needs and provide an enhanced relationship experience. Our talented team is committed to offering a proposition suited to each individual’s circumstances, to help ensure they can fulfil the property ambitions.”
