The Money Centre starts seminar tour

The Money Centre’s nationwide tour of free buy-to-let seminars is successfully under way for another year. The tour kicked off in Newcastle on January 17th with 250 people attending the seminar, the second followed swiftly on 1st February in Cardiff with over 500 people learning how to make the most from property investment.

2006 looks as though it will be a promising year for property with house prices stabilising and prices continuing to rise. With interest rates expected to remain low and market returns still looking volatile, it all points towards investment as a sensible route to securing financial futures.

Titled ‘Making a Success of Property Investment’, The Money Centre seminars visit people in all corners of the country and are the only free ones of their kind in the industry. Each seminar gives guidance to new and existing portfolio landlords on how to make the best possible returns from the rental market in 2006.

Led by Mark Alexander, managing director of The Money Centre, attendees will be given guidance on investing in buy-to-let property and the best way to grow a portfolio. Also speaking at the seminar will be established portfolio landlords who will be using their own property investment as case studies to illustrate the most profitable ways to grow property portfolio.

Mark comments: “2005 was a period of realignment for the housing market. Pricing was unrealistic and people were anxious that the market would crash, which made them reluctant to buy. However, the market has readjusted over the last couple of months and confidence is returning, mainly due to prices rising in December, which is the first time in 18 months. Landlords who take a long-term and pragmatic approach to their investment, carefully selecting the right properties in the right geographical areas, will benefit from being able to provide good quality rental properties in this improving market. The Money Centre is here to provide guidance to clients to ensure investments continue providing healthy returns long into the future. From the most seasoned of investors to those just curious on how to get started in the buy-to-let business, the seminar will help people take informed, calculated action within the property market. It is also as useful for those who have previously attended one of our seminars as it is for those who haven’t – the market changes year on year and we change our seminar accordingly to provide the most up-to-date guidance on investment.”

The next Money Centre seminar will take place in Birmingham on the 7th March at Aston Villa Football Club. Other locations, with dates yet to be confirmed, are Liverpool, Oxford, Leicester and The Money Centre’s home city of Norwich.
