The relationship will give Pink Home Loans’ customers access to The Exchange’s Exweb broker portal. Over time both companies will work towards greater integration of existing and additional third party services via the portal.
Exweb Broker is a tailored version of the full Exweb portal that has been designed specifically for financial advisers selling mortgages, protection and general insurance. It gives advisers access to The Exchange’s coverage of products and providers, enabling them to research, quote and buy products electronically on behalf of their clients.
The Exchange will build a customised and branded version of Exweb Broker, which will be used by Pink Home Loans’ existing appointed representatives (ARs) and will aim to help attract new ARs to its network.
The portal will provide Pink Home Loans with access to comparative quotation and electronic transaction services for a preferred panel of providers, with the ability to add or remove providers from this panel as long as they support The Exchange’s services. Product areas covered are term assurance, mortgage protection, family income benefit, critical illness and income protection. A document library will provide access to a range of provider literature.
The Pink Home Loans portal will also be fully integrated with Mortgage Brain’s mortgage sourcing software, removing the need for advisers to re-enter ID and passwords when moving between the two services. This will enable client details to be automatically transferred from the Mortgage Brain client database into The Exchange’s quotation and transaction services and then quote details to be transferred back into the client database.
Pink Home Loans will have access to monthly management information on which advisers are accessing the portal as well as quote and transaction volumes, which can be split by product type.
