Tenet announces Richards replacement

Richards announced that he would be leaving Tenet last week to become chief executive at the Personal Finance Society.

Tenet has also announced a number of new appointments as part of its internal restructure.

Phillip Hilling joins the board as senior independent director and Gill Davidson has been named as Tenet’s group regulatory director and company secretary.

Turner said: "It’s a very exciting time to be joining the Tenet Board.

“The Board has been significantly strengthened with the addition of Barry Meeks and Gill Davidson - with their background in the mortgage market Tenet is now very well positioned for the future.”

Martin Greenwood, Tenet executive chairman, added: “These changes will help ensure we are perfectly positioned to continue to give our clients the support they need in this ever-changing market, as well as meeting the needs of the FSA when it comes to our organisational structure.”

Meanwhile Rob Waller has taken on a new role within AEGON and has resigned his position as a Tenet non-executive director.

An announcement regarding his successor is expected in the near future.
