Tenet accredited to mark CII exams

The award is the culmination of more than 12 months’ close co-operation with the CII and Tenet expects hundreds of its clients to make use of it.

In addition to a tailor-made course and study material, Tenet advisers will be able to sit the exam on a monthly basis and for less than a third of the usual cost, due to Tenet bearing most of the expense.

New study material has been written specifically for clients, with Tenet’s training team authorised to take on all of the necessary face-to-face tutoring and assessment - even in an IFA’s office where appropriate.

“It is a further demonstration of our continuing investment in providing practical help and guidance to achieve the required qualification standards in the run-up to RDR,” said Tenet’s distribution and development director, Keith Richards.

“With our hands-on support, pass rates are already extremely good for both JO1 and JO4. We have created a tuition programme to meet all learning styles and are confident Tenet can help even exam-averse advisers achieve success.

“The CII accreditation is a fitting reward for the hard work put in by our training department and recognition of our dedication to the highest standards of training provision and practical support.”

Fay Goddard, CEO of the Personal Finance Society, congratulated Tenet on the achievement, saying: “It takes commitment and significant investment to develop an accredited proposition for studying and assessing qualifications. I am sure this in-house offering will be very much appreciated by Tenet’s clients.”
