TCF Debt Solutions becomes preferred partner for debt charity

The charity which is currently self funded, is looking for government backing to expand its work. It provides extensive training on all aspects of debt advice to mortgage brokers and IFAs who are recruited to give advice to clients. In return the charity negotiates with local authorities and employers who have people needing debt advice. The intermediary, who is free to carry on his principal business, is expected to make himself available to see clients in local authority buildings at least one day per week and also take telephone enquiries from employees of participating companies with a view to doing home visits. Clients whom the adviser feels would benefit from a debt solution are then referred to TCF Debt Solutions or another member of the panel.

Andy Moody, managing director at TCF Debt Solutions, said, “We are looking forward to working with Debt Advice Network. We have always worked exclusively through intermediaries and have the systems to ensure that they and their clients are not only given the best service but that the vital communication between ourselves, the intermediary and client is maintained throughout the process.”
