TAB bolsters senior management team

Mortgage lender TAB has made three new additions – Rikesh Saujani, Jon Sturgess, and Matthew Hayes – to its senior management team, setting itself in a position to launch future products and investment opportunities later this year.

Saujani (pictured left), who joins TAB as investment director, has nearly 20 years of experience and has had roles at Hervines Group, Credit Suisse Securities and Lloyds Banking Group. In his last role as a partner at Hervines Group, he originated deal flow and supported UK businesses to raise funding for strategic growth and capital requirements.

At TAB, he will oversee the strategic investment of the group and provide insight on institutional funding and business development opportunities.

Sturgess (pictured centre), who has been appointed sales development director, has over 30 years of experience and has previously worked at Masthaven Bank and LiveMore Capital. He was most recently a sales director at LiveMore, where he implemented a mortgage proposition to the specialist lending market.

In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and meeting origination targets.

Hayes (pictured right), who joins as head of finance, has over 15 years of financial experience in Australia and the UK, including roles at Shawbrook Bank, Close Brothers, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia. At Shawbrook, Hayes sat on the consumer finance exco and led on commercial finance support, driving the bottom-up budgeting process. He also implemented Shawbrook’s first Finance Graduate Programme in 2022.

His new appointment at TAB gives him the responsibility to manage and oversee the financial operations of the lender to ensure stability and growth.

“Our aim is to expand our outstanding team which has a proven track record of delivering competitive offerings for borrowers and providing returns for investors,” Duncan Kreeger, chief executive and founder of TAB, stated in an article announcing the appointments. “Rikesh, Jon, and Matthew bring a wealth of experience and will add a huge amount of depth to our team as we continue to grow our business in a changing but exciting time for real estate.”
