Swift increases allowance

Payable on completion, the bonus will help packagers towards a range of processing costs. John Webster, chief executive of the Swift Group, commented: “By launching this £100 bonus, we’re sending a firm message to our customers and the market that Swift believes quality of packaging is important.”

Advantage enhances range

Advantage has announced rates for its ADV non-conforming product range. Rates start from 3.99 per cent on one-year discount mortgages, with three-year fixed available from 5.94 per cent.

Changes to the range include: no higher lending charge; no early repayment charge overhang on selected products; and no additional loading on right-to-buy. Self-certification is accepted to 90 per cent loan-to-value (LTV) and buy-to-let to 85 per cent LTV.

Keith Dearling, managing director at Advantage, said: “We are one of the last specialist lenders to re-price our product range and we continue to be committed to brokers and packagers, enabling them to respond to client demand.”
