Swift announces online enhancements

Based on Swiftdisc, its offline cd based program, vSwift has built on all of the features that intermediaries liked and added even more to this online version.

Accessed through a quick quote screen on the Swift website, intermediaries will be able to get instant quotes or return to previous quotes. By entering the potential borrowers’ details, they will be able to produce all of the relevant loan or mortgage documents instantly.

Also included are quick links to other essential features to enable an intermediary to conduct an e-ID check via URU, the online identity verification system. The sophistication of the system also means that client information is automatically pre-populated from the data already entered into the system which saves time and hassle.

Other links which ensure the intermediary is presented with an end-to-end solution is a direct link to Hometrack, for online valuations, and to the Swift solicitors in Northern Ireland and Scotland enabling search requests to be made straight away - again without having to re-key any client data.

John Webster, CEO of Swift, said: “Although the Swiftdisc has become something of an institution with intermediaries we wanted to deliver a functionality that was just not possible with an offline facility. Additionally, as the system is online, there is no issue with out of date or obsolete versions of the technology.

“I’ve often spoken about how an effective system is one that intelligently builds technology into a people based service process. The launch of vSwift ensures that we do not lose the personal attention to underwriting that this market and our customers require, but we can get to that stage quicker and more effectively. All of the new features will provide an added value to intermediaries and are complemented with the existing case tracking system which will now show the status of the case the moment it is submitted.”
