Standard Life Bank links with Trigold

Standard Life Bank Head of Sales, Alan Dring, said the

move demonstrated the Bank's continuing commitment to intermediaries in a changing market place.

Alan commented: "Intermediaries are facing new regulatory and cost pressures which means now, more than ever, they need to do business as efficiently as possible. Our partnership with Trigold means users will now be able to send an application to Standard Life Bank on-line, saving valuable time.

Bill Safran, joint managing director - Trigold said:

"Standard Life Bank has demonstrated a tremendous drive and commitment to online applications with this integration to Trigold's Electronic Trading Centre. Our 22,000 subscribers now have a seamless link from Prospector AAA, their preferred point of sale system, directly to Standard Life Bank; cutting out all the hassle and time wasting that comes from re-keying data.

The ease of use, speed and certainty of receipt that electronic integration provides will also allow many of the Standard Life Bank's existing relationships to start taking advantage of the benefits that online transactions provide."

Alan Dring continued: "Intermediaries are having to re-examine their business models to ensure they will be profitable in a constantly changing market. The ability to process applications online will continue to be an important factor ensuring advisers manage their time smartly. Standard Life Bank is continuing to develop its service proposition and this new development has been implemented a result of feedback from the intermediaries."

Mr Dring said the new service through Trigold, a leading software provider with integrated compliance and mortgage sourcing software, would complement the work Standard Life Bank was currently doing to help advisers develop joint business plans.

Advisers will be able to receive a decision for online applications within three hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am and 2pm on Saturdays. Advisers who have not previously placed business with Standard Life Bank can download registration forms from www.standardlifebank.com/adviser and www.adviserzone.com.
