S&P reveals website

The site has been designed to deliver enhanced electronic capabilities to intermediaries by offering a full end-to-end process for the sale, support and account management of their general insurance business.

In addition to carrying the company’s new branding and corporate identity, the website has been re-built to incorporate intelligent navigation and features a step-by-step guide on how to become a Select & Protect broker, how to sell and submit general insurance (GI) policies, and a comprehensive overview of the company’s product range, including product comparison tables and commission calculators.

For registered users, a personalised ‘My Select & Protect’ area has also been created, which is designed to support an intermediary’s sales, marketing and admin needs. Interactive sales tips, marketing guides, downloads, research archives and market information and the company’s customer support process, for example, are all included.

Bruce Reid, Select & Protect’s managing director, commented: “Making it easier for intermediaries to sell general insurance is one of our prime objectives, which means we are committed to giving them the right products, the right service and the right tools. We believe we’ve achieved this yet again with the launch of the new website.

“The new site is unique in that it has been designed to offer a complete start to finish online experience. For example, a new intermediary customer can, without leaving the site, register for an agency, learn about our products and how to sell them, download our trading platform software to set up and submit GI business, manage all administration and interact with our claims, technical and agency support teams or business development managers.”

The company has also revealed that additional modules and micro-sites are due to be launched over the coming months.
