Sir Clive Woodward to speak at FSE London

Sir Clive, who coached England to the Rugby World Cup in 2003, will talk about management, leadership, teamwork, excellence, organisation, motivation, performance and innovation.

FSE London will take place at Old Billingsgate from 16 to 17 September.

James Prosser, director of Front Events, said: “In the week that the Rugby World Cup begins at Twickenham it seems only fitting that we have one of rugby union’s greatest coaches, Sir Clive Woodward OBE, delivering our key note address on the second day.

“FSE London is not just about giving delegates the most sophisticated sector-specific information and support to help their advisory businesses, it is also about inspiring and motivating them to be the best that they can be. This is why we have asked Sir Clive to talk about what it takes to win and achieve, how this can be done, how to get the most out of you and your staff, and much more.

“We anticipate delegates leaving Sir Clive’s presentation energised and enthused about the coming challenges ahead and how they can tackle them. FSE London recognises that we often need to look outside our market to see the way ahead, and this session will offer an outsiders’ perspective on how we can get better and the leadership traits we need to adopt to take those next business steps.”

The Financial Conduct Authority will send two speakers to the event, while others will include Nationwide’s economist Stefano Silvestrin, who will look at the effects of technology on the market.

The expo will feature two seminar theatres, one covering the mortgage market and a second covering topic such as retirement planning, protection, buy to let and fraud. The full line-up will be announced next week.

Attendees who register will be entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to England’s Rugby World Cup warm-up match with Ireland on the 5 September at Twickenham.
