Brokers will need to hold their nerve and forget about the infamous misses by Pearce and Waddle as they line up to show off their shooting skills. It may sound simple but there are challenges greater than Messi and Ronaldo to overcome.
Players will have three ‘lives’ to score as many goals as they can in, getting the ball past the goalie between the living room goalposts. They will lose a life if the goalie saves their shot, if they miss or if they break something – for example if their shot smashes a vase or causing water to leak from the radiator or crack the plaster.
Once they have used all their lives up, the game is over and their score will be transferred to the leader board.
Distribution director Bruce Reid said:“While we don’t want any broker to take their eye off the business ball – sorry, couldn’t resist the pun – there’s no harm in having a little fun either! With the chance to win an iPad mini and brokers’ natural competitive spirit, we’re sure the competition will be hotly contested.”

The broker who has scored the most penalties on the final date of the competition will be the champion. The winner will be announced on the Select & Protect website on 14th July.
