First to offer new qualifications for the forthcoming FSA regime, the ifs has developed an innovative new qualifications structure that meets the needs of both the industry and the regulator.
The syllabuses for both qualifications have been reviewed by industry experts and received approval. In addition to the syllabus changes, other key benefits include:
- first module common to both CeMAPTM and CeFA
- electronically delivered tests for all modules (in mainland UK)
- immediate results
- unitised structure enabling students to only revisit aspects of the assessment in which they are initially unsuccessful
- potential to sit single units for CPD/knowledge update purposes
Examinations will be available from 1 November 2004.
