RAMP strengthens compliance team

Alan has been invited to join RAMP on a part-time secondment basis in order that he can continue to retain his existing responsibilities as Quality Manager at Praxis, where he was instrumental in their successful achievement of the quality standard ISO 9001:2000.

RAMP, which represents many of the UK’s largest mortgage arrangers, has majored on providing a strong and responsive compliance function for its members since its launch. RAMP has highlighted a number of support services it now wishes to expand, including the facilitation of extra “in-house” training and its ongoing programme in respect of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ (TCF).

Nick Battersby, Compliance Director at RAMP commented “ With the first anniversary of mortgage regulation upon us, Alan’s invaluable experience in compliance monitoring and training and competence will play a significant part in our overall commitment to offer the highest level of regulatory and compliance services to our members. Alan’s employer, Praxis, is an existing member of RAMP. This is just another sign of the level of cooperation established among RAMP’s members.”

Alan Lee commented. “I am very excited to be working for RAMP. I am confident that my skills and experience combined with the success I have already had at Praxis will be invaluable in work I will be doing for RAMP. I look forward to working with Nick and all of the RAMP team.
