Putting customers first

Halifax continues to put intermediaries at the heart of its strategy, offering the same competitive products to new and existing customers and paying intermediaries the same procuration fee for new and retained business, providing intermediaries with even more opportunities to grow their business. Working closely with intermediaries, Halifax has developed a proposition to fit the intermediary market and has provided the technology to support it.

Intermediaries can now easily carry out a product transfer or further advance online, and earn the same procuration fee as they would do for new Halifax business. This allows intermediaries to offer their clients a more comprehensive range of products, representing genuine long-term value. It also opens up a new income stream for intermediaries – a first-rate value proposition for both intermediaries and their clients.

Why offer your client a Halifax product transfer or further advance?

Quicker and easier than

remortgaging.

Competitive rates – same great deals for new and existing

customers.

Access to client data through Halifax Intermediaries Online – to assist in providing best advice.

Earn the same broker procuration fee as you do for new business.

The application process for both product transfers and further advances mirrors the existing process for Halifax Mortgage Applications:

From the ‘Customer Summary’ Screen select ‘New Product Transfer or Further Advance Key Facts Illustration (KFI)’ button.

Key the relevant product information and submit the KFI.

Once the KFI has been accepted, click on ‘Convert Key Facts Illustration’ to convert the KFI to an application.

Click ‘Next’ through the ‘read only’ screens and you will then be prompted to log-on and submit the application.

The application finishes at this point.

The whole process takes just minutes – there’s no need to re-key any data and there’s hardly any paperwork involved. Overall, the Halifax proposition really is market leading for intermediaries and their clients.
