Preferred to host TCF roadshows

During the free half day events in October and November, expert independent consultants will help senior and middle managers identify key business factors and understand how to prepare for TCF. Intermediaries will be receiving their invitations within the next week.

The roadshows will be run by Richard Wyatt Haines, an independent consultant who runs TCF seminars for the Council of Mortgage Lenders and the Institute of Financial Services. Ben Stafford, Head of Policy at the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) is the guest speaker at each event.

Issues covered will include: strategy and culture , remuneration, product development and change management. Attendees will complete a brief questionnaire on TCF knowledge after they've registered so that each of the events can be tailored for their needs. An online TCF quiz will also be available on a specially created TCF roadshow website.

John Webster, Managing Director at Preferred says: "It is essential that intermediaries and lenders alike embrace TCF and make sure that the principles are embedded into their company strategy. The main challenge for intermediaries is to do this while simultaneously building sales and profitability. At Preferred, we are committed to supporting our intermediaries through such changes. By hosting these roadshows we are inviting our key intermediaries to join us in learning more about TCF and the way that it affects our business processes. Richard has a wealth of knowledge about TCF and Ben is a respected industry voice on hot topics like this, so we’re delighted to be able to give our intermediaries the chance to learn about TCF directly from the experts."
