Hosted by George Patellis and John Webster, joint Managing Directors of Preferred, the event
provided the investors with the opportunity to ask questions about their investments, and about
the mortgage market in general. Senior front line staff including the Head of New Business and
the Head of Servicing gave presentations, and underwriters from the Loan Development Centre were on hand to answer questions.
George Patellis said: 'It was an excellent opportunity for our investors to gain a better insight
into Preferred, particularly as they were able to view the day-to-day workings in our Head Office.
It was also a chance for John Webster and I to meet the investors on a slightly less formal basis,
as we usually only speak to them when we are marketing a deal.’
Patellis continued: ‘Following the success of this event we are planning to hold another Investors
Day next year to ensure our investors are aware of Preferred's position in the non-conforming
industry; understand the quality of our underwriting and servicing; and, most importantly, remain
confident in the strength of their investments.'
