PMS surpasses £200 billion in applications

Completions between 1 January and 30 June 2007 reached over £20 billion (138,039 loans) from £27.5 billion (181,453) applications. Applications and completion numbers have both increased by 10,000, during the first six months of 2007 and the value of these completed loans represent a 20% increase, on the same period during 2006. This is in excess of the recent CML figures which report an 11% increase in Gross Mortgage Lending over the same period.

PMS have been further encouraged in the first 6 months of the year, by support received from the lenders on its panel, the various support service providers and support of its database of Directly Authorised intermediaries.

Bankhall’s chief executive Peter Mann said: “As an organisation providing quality compliance and protection solutions, coupled with the marvellous results from PMS in the first six months, further demonstrates the excellent working relationships between the two organisations.”

John Malone commented: “The first six months are a further demonstration of the hard work we have put in with our lender and support partners, for the benefit of the Directly Authorised market place and the strong relationships we have with a number of support networks in the market. We are committed to carrying our proposition to the many roadshows and seminars we are involved in, further assisting both lender and intermediary."
