PMS plans NI roadshow

Taking place at the Culloden Hotel, Hollywood, Belfast on 26 April, the event will boast a strong regulatory angle. The Financial Service Authority (FSA), Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) and Society of Mortgage Professionals (SoMP) have all agreed to present and discuss a number of topical issues with intermediaries from the province.

Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss in detail the PMS mortgage proposition, which was relaunched on 19 March and offers compliance, technical, e-commerce, marketing and business development services. A number of panel lenders; who are recently launched into the Northern Ireland market, will line up alongside existing players to exhibit on the day.

John Malone, managing director of Premier Mortgage Service, commented: “I believe that this will be the first time that the FSA, AMI and SoMP will be sharing the same platform in Northern Ireland for the benefit of the intermediaries.

“With over 23 of our panel lenders exhibiting as well as the industry regulator and trade bodies, it will, I am certain, draw a large audience from the broker market. Furthermore the event is open to all mortgage intermediaries regardless of their regulatory status which further demonstrates our relationships with the lenders supporting us at this event.”

The event is to be held at The Culloden Hotel, Bangor Road, Holywood, Belfast, and delegates will hear presentations on a variety of topics including; issues on the horizon for mortgage intermediaries, training qualifications and professionalism in the industry and a response from the FSA on the recent thematic visits.
