PMS and Sesame to host adviser road show

The events have been designed to help advisers gain an insight into issues and emerging opportunities in mortgages, protection and general insurance.

The events are being supported by several UK mortgage lenders and product providers.

Lloyds Banking Group will provide a presentation giving a lender’s perspective on the changing face of the buy-to-let market as well as its views on opportunities that will exist in the future.

LV= will run a session on rule changes associated with the Competition Commission which will include a look at long-term income protection, a product that will not be affected by the rule changes.

Also Bright Grey will be discussing the importance of writing policies in trust and explaining the referral opportunities this presents.

Seminars will start in Watford on Tuesday 20 March and finish in Belfast on Thursday 19 April.

John Cupis, managing director of PMS, said: “Our CPD accredited road shows are a great opportunity for advisers to develop their skills, get up to date with the latest regulatory developments and also talk to lenders and providers on a one-to-one basis.

“As the UK’s biggest mortgage support services provider, we are able to use our scale and expertise to give advisers a real insight into current issues and opportunities, as well as offering valuable marketing and business development support.

“These events are very popular with advisers and this year’s will be even bigger than before, as we look to help as many advisers as possible.”
