Pioneering service aims to provide key to property ownership

Until now rising property prices have meant that living at home or renting have been the only realistic choices for many. Would be home owners are beginning to realise that by joining with others it is possible to take a first step onto the property ladder.

FirstRungNow has been set up to help first time buyers, including young professionals and key workers, invest in their first properties.

Company Director, Helen Adams:

“We hear all the time about the difficulties faced by so many who can’t afford to buy their own homes. They end up locked into a situation where they pay high rents and see no return for their money. The longer they wait, the more out of reach property becomes. FirstRungNow has been created to offer a solution to the dilemma faced by potential first time buyers.”

The unique service arms first time buyers with information on the practicalities of joint ownership and introduces members to others wanting to buy a home in the same area. A free guide to buying a property is also available to make the process as simple as possible.

The web based service goes live on 1st November 2003 and can be found at www.firstrungnow.com. The introduction service for first time buyers and property investors is available in major towns and cities nationwide.
