Pink reveals strength of mortgage club

Pink’s total lending figures doubled from £1.3 billion in 2002 to £2.6 billion in 2003 with direct to lender business now representing the majority of the total.

Additions to the direct lending panel in 2003 such as Accord Mortgages and the launch of a range of exclusive mortgage products, strengthened Pink’s mortgage club offering in 2003 and made it a popular choice for customers.

Tony Jones, managing director at Pink Home Loans, comments: “The amount of mortgage lending we handled doubled from £1.3 billion in 2002 to £2.6 billion in 2003, which is a tremendous achievement and a strong indication of the strength of Pink’s proposition. Furthermore, our mortgage club has now trebled in size in terms of total mortgage lending and the majority of business we deal with is now direct-to-lender.”

“We anticipate continued growth for 2004 and are looking to further enhance our mortgage club offering by developing our direct lender panel and exclusive product ranges.”
