Pink Home Loans enhances service proposition

With the Financial Services Authority (FSA) paying heavy attention to Financial Promotions, ‘Pink by Design’ is aimed at providing appointed representatives (ARs) with a system to create promotional tools which comply with the FSA’s guidelines.

It has been built to allow for updates, with Pink targeting website creation as a future development proposition.

Kay Leslie, associate director of compliance at Pink Home Loans, commented: “Financial Promotions continue to be an issue within the mortgage industry and ‘Pink by Design’ takes this into account by building compliance sign-off into its process. It is an intelligent system that asks for relevant information to comply with FSA rules.”

Mike Fitzgerald, sales director at Brentchase Financial Services, said: “Everyone thinks Financial Promotions compliance is impossible, but the FSA guidelines are so clear most decent brokers should be able to do it. However, ‘Pink by Design’ is a brilliant idea and I can see other networks developing similar systems.”

Pink has also enhanced the service for its packaging business, with the aim of attracting more intermediaries to the firm.

It will now allow directly authorised (DA) brokers to access its online decision-in-principle (DIP) facility and has launched an offer which will give Pink ARs six bottles of wine for the first case they send in between now, and the end of the year.

Pink has also expanded its packaging lender panel, with the addition of edeus and Advantage.

Tony Jones, managing director at Pink Home Loans, said: “These are just a small number of initiatives undertaken by Pink to enhance our service. We will soon be introducing a client management system, which will pull together everything a broker requires to do business.”
